If I was President or handling the President, even if it’s for the sake of PR, I would have sent the Corper a written note. I won’t type it. It would be my handwriting.
Imagine picking a letter the next morning after your viral protest video and it reads:
“Dear Raye,
My name is Bola Ahmed Tinubu, your President. I felt disturbed after watching your video last night. I could not sleep throughout the night. I can only imagine what millions like you are going through at this time in our society. Your protest video calls for sober reflection and it’s an evidence that I must not fail as your leader. Raye, I promise to do all that’s possible to change your living conditions. Everything you have stated in your video won’t be your story by 2027, I promise once again.
Kind Regards”
But No! It’s always force, oppressive laws, bullying and cyber crime act.
What I have described above is how a civilized President not a tyrant will take this matter.
Reading also some of the pro-Tinubu comments have shown clearly to me that we are not yet civilized. We only think we are. Having access to Iphone is not civilization.
The Tinubu regime should know that it can not win this fight against free speech. The military with all the brute force failed. That day will never come that Nigerians; I mean all of us will be forced to keep quiet while suffering. It’s not possible. This regime should get the memo already.
