Take It Back Movement Holds Meet-and-Greet in Ibadan, Focuses on Grassroots Building and Fight Against Injustice

The Take It Back (TIB) Movement on Sunday held a meet-and-greet session at Sweet Savour, Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, with a strong emphasis on grassroots organizing and the collective spirit of resisting injustice.

The gathering drew notable leaders and members of the movement, including the convener of the RevolutionNow Movement, Omoyele Sowore, alongside Comrade Ajayi Wizeman, Femi Adeyeye, Dimeji Salako, Adisa Ibadan, Ismail Excel, Kayode Babayomi, among many others.

Discussions at the event centered on “grassroots building and the resilient spirit of fighting injustice,” according to organizers.

Commenting on the session, activist and participant Salako Oladimeji expressed his delight in meeting Sowore. Writing on his Facebook page after the event, he said:
“A meet & greet today at Ibadan with my leader Omoyele Sowore. It is always a pleasure meeting with Baba Sho ❤️. A Leader I stan any time any day ✊.”

Adisa Ibadan, another prominent member of the movement, also shared his reflections. He wrote:
“We are progressing. Thanks! to the revolutionary leader Omoyele Sowore for the ideas. It is our responsibility to liberate this country. Take It Back Nigeria.”

When reached for comment, Comrade Ismail Excel described the atmosphere as engaging and inspiring.
“It was a wonderful evening filled with engaging discussions, questions and answers, relaxation, and dining while organizing a way forward and welcoming new members. A great time was had,” he stated.

The Ibadan gathering is one of many ongoing activities by the Take It Back Movement and the AAC to deepen grassroots mobilization, strengthen resilience against oppression, and champion the liberation of Nigerians from leaders who have plunged the people into hardship and penury.
