Constitution of the Take It Back (TIB) Global Movement
Article I: Name and Purpose
Section 1: Name This organization shall be known as the Take It Back (TIB) Global Movement.
Section 2: Purpose The purpose of the TIB Global Movement is to build and safeguard a fair, free, and equitable society, where the fundamental values of freedom, liberty, and socio-economic equality are upheld. We strive to eradicate poverty, ignorance, and conformity, and champion the freedom, dignity, and well-being of all individuals. Our aim is to disperse systems of power and greed, foster diversity, nurture creativity, and ensure that all citizens can contribute fully to their communities and participate in decisions that affect their lives.
Article II: Core Values
Section 1: Human Rights and Justice We uphold the principles of human rights, justice, and open government. We are committed to fighting for the rights of individuals, promoting transparency, and holding accountable those who violate these principles.
Section 2: Equality and Inclusivity We reject all forms of prejudice and discrimination based on ethnic group, race, color, religion, age, disability, or gender. We strive for equal opportunities and inclusivity for all, and work to eliminate entrenched privilege and inequality.
Section 3: Environmental Stewardship We recognize our responsibility to safeguard the balance of nature and the environment. We advocate for sustainable practices, the protection of biodiversity, and the preservation of our planet’s resources for the long-term continuity of life in all its forms.
Section 4: Democracy and Participation We believe in the power of democracy and the importance of active citizen participation. We advocate for democratic processes, fair voting systems, and decision-making at the lowest practicable level. We support the right of individuals to be involved in running their communities.
Article III: Structure and Governance
Section 1: Organizational Structure The TIB Global Movement shall operate as a decentralized network of individuals and groups united by a common vision and purpose. It shall consist of constituent units at local, regional, and national levels, working in coordination to achieve the organization’s objectives.
Section 2: Leadership The leadership of the TIB Global Movement shall comprise individuals elected by the members through a democratic process. The leadership shall be accountable to the members and committed to upholding the principles and values of the organization.
Section 3: Decision-Making Decisions within the TIB Global Movement shall be made through a participatory and inclusive process, encouraging diverse perspectives and ensuring transparency. Major decisions shall be determined by a consensus-based approach or through democratic voting, as determined by the organization’s constitution.
Article IV: Membership and Engagement
Section 1: Membership Membership in the TIB Global Movement shall be open to all individuals who align with the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Membership shall not be restricted based on ethnicity, race, color, religion, age, disability, gender, or any other discriminatory factors.
Section 2: Rights and Responsibilities Members of the TIB Global Movement shall have the right to participate in the decision-making process, voice their opinions, and contribute to the organization’s activities. They shall also have the responsibility to uphold the organization’s values, actively engage in its initiatives, and promote its objectives.
Section 3: Non-Discrimination The TIB Global Movement shall not tolerate any form of discrimination within its ranks or in its activities. Members shall treat each other with respect, dignity, and fairness, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Article V: Amendments
Section 1: Amendment Process Amendments to this constitution may be proposed by any member of the TIB Global Movement. Proposed amendments shall be submitted in writing and undergo a review process. Final approval of amendments shall be determined through a democratic voting process.
Section 2: Constitutional Review The constitution shall be periodically reviewed to ensure its relevance and effectiveness in guiding the organization. A constitutional review committee shall be established to undertake this process, involving input from members across all levels of the organization.
Article VI: Dissolution
In the event of the dissolution of the TIB Global Movement, all remaining assets shall be distributed in a manner consistent with the organization’s mission and objectives. The process of dissolution shall be determined by the leadership and members in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
This constitution shall serve as the guiding document for the Take It Back (TIB) Global Movement, providing a framework for its operations, principles, and governance. It shall be binding upon all members and constituent units, reflecting the collective aspirations of individuals committed to the pursuit of a fair, free, and equitable society.
