I still maintain that Nigeria is far from when someone can vote and hope that it counts, very very very far. But for those of you who have a different opinion, I will ask the same question I asked shortly before the last presidential selection.VWhy don’t you give Omoyele Sowore a chance? What is your actual reason for not supporting this man for parosident?
I still no believe say one politician go change Nigeria, but Sowore seems to be someone that at least we fit talk say bad as e bad. He is the only politician that has proven beyond any doubt, to be on the side of the sufferers of Nigeria.
If you’re between 30 – 35 years old, Sowore has been fighting for the greatness of Nigeria before you were born, and his consistency is admirable.
But small time, Nigerians will say he has not held any political office before, he doesn’t haff experience, he should go and start from his state, nyen nyen nyen.
Question is, all these other ones that started from their village square and got to presidency, how far? I say again, Nigerians no get sense.
But let me shock you, small. In spite of the fact that Sowore gets the poorest support from Nigerians during elections, Sowore has the largest honest vote counts in the history of Nigeria, and that was in the two elections he contested in.
What I’m saying is that, Sowore’s honest votes in each of the two elections he contested, were far more than those of MKO Abiola, who is historically the poster boy for Nigeria’s Democracy.
Sowore holds the record for the highest democratic vote counts in the history of Nigeria.
I’ll explain.
In the last election, Mr. Peter Obi obviously had more votes than Sowore. For June 12, Abiola obviously had more votes than Sowore. But both Pitobi and Abiola used their big influences to get people to vote for them.
They would have either spent big money before and during campaigns, or would have traveled round the country lobbying stakeholders, or would have being in parties that command crowd, etc…
Normally, with these influences, on top a touch of sophism, they will gather a lot of votes. But for Sowore, he doesn’t have any of those influences, he doesn’t even speak to entice voters, he just put facts on the table, tell us his plans for the country and details on how to achieve them, then calls out every bad egg in Government.
I was in Enugu when he came for campaign for 2019 elections, it was just him inside an old Lexus 300 that mistakenly had an open roof from where he was blowing fists to skies. Most people on the streets of Enugu didn’t even know him, some were laughing because na this one wey never chop wan come contest for parosident?
Sowore’s campaign rally in Enugu was way smaller than when someone in Ogbete Main Market is campaigning for Market Association Chairmanship, literally saying. If this was Enugu, imagine North; North wey be the real deciders of vote counts. After all these things, Sowore ended up pulling a lot of votes.
If MKO Abiola, Tinubu, Pitobi, Atiku Abubakar ran elections on the same budget as Sowore, his votes would dust all of theirs put together in the same election.
Ladies and gentlemen, in case you believe that voting in elections will count, imagine throwing your weights behind Omoyele Sowore, who has proven beyond any reasonable doubt to be the only politician who is truly on the side of the sufferers.
And like we all know, if e be say Sowore win the election and them wan use technicality comot am from him hand, he will never let it happen; at least he will openly and fearlessly kick against it. His numbers don’t lie.
Some people say if he became parosident, he will be too harsh, some say he is planted as a distraction; me sef don bin reason this distraction matter before, but I come check am see say maybe he just has a totally different freedom fighting style.
My own reservation is that, a lot of times, he got too dramatic; for example, wetin concern you with where them reserve for state Governor?
Sowore for parosident of the Failderal Republic of Nigeria?
I AM…
