The Take It Back (TiB) Movement, FCT Chapter held two impactful events over the weekend — the “Female Activists Meet-Up” and the “Road Race of Resilience.”
According to Rex Elanu, the FCT Coordinator of the Take It Back Movement, both activities were strategically designed to attract, engage, and conscientize various categories of young people within Abuja. The events drew participation from young women, athletes, sports enthusiasts, and members of the general public, all of whom were introduced to the movement’s revolutionary message of Total Liberation.

“We had two events last weekend: the ‘Female Activists Meet-Up’ and the ‘Road Race of Resilience’,” Elanu said in an interview. “These activities were tailored to attract, engage, and conscientize different categories of young people within Abuja. We were able to leverage sports and a decent meet-up to engage young ladies, sports men and women, sports enthusiasts, and the general public with our revolutionary message of Total Liberation.”
The strategic engagement yielded tangible results, as the movement welcomed over 30 new members into its FCT chapter.

Elanu emphasized that while the message of the Take It Back Movement is powerful and rooted in truth, its effectiveness depends on the ability to reach people through diverse and innovative channels.
“Our message is powerful enough to convince citizens — it’s the truth that liberates,” he said. “But we must use every means available to get people to at least listen to it.”
Also featured in the race was the Convener of the Take It Back Movement, Omoyele Sowore, whose presence served as an inspiration to participants. Known for his active participation in marathon events both within Nigeria and internationally, Sowore didn’t just attend — he joined the race, further energizing the atmosphere and reinforcing the movement’s message through action.
