TIB Seeks Justice For Victims Of CBEX Ponzi Scheme
The Take It Back Movement blames the Nigerian Government for the loss of NGN1.3 trillion by Nigerians to the now evident Ponzi scheme called CBEX which has generated despair, hopelessness, and frustrations among Nigerians who are already suffering the mindless pretentious trickle-down economics of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
There is no arguing the fact that the failure of the capitalist-minded policies of the ruining class led unsuspecting Nigerians to patronize what seemed like silver bullets to their pains, sufferings, and hopelessness occasioned by the so-called Renewed Hope strategies.
This is indeed, a stark reminder of how vulnerable our economic system is where the pursuit of preservation of self seeking fellows privileged to occupy public offices, and profit has always trampled on the rights and dignity of the people. It is no doubt, a Class issue where the criminally wealthy and powerful feel they can always escape accountability with the suffering masses bearing the brunt.
Therefore, the Take It Back Movement, demands the following;
- Commencement of investigation into the registration, and operations of CBEX with the goal being the retrieval of the hard earned sums invested by Nigerians
- Prosecution of both operators and regulators whose criminal mindset and negligence, respectively, led to the current situation
- An improvement on regulatory framework to ensure this now seemingly recurring situation does not occur again where the people are exploited by criminals.
We also enjoin Nigerians to join the call for justice of those who fell victim to these capitalist schemes.
Furthermore, we urge Nigerians to be suspicious about schemes that seem like an easy fix to the plethora of troubles we all face and hold those in power accountable for their actions.
