TIB Movement in Niger State Mourns Victims of Devastating Flash Flood in Mokwa

Take It Back Movement, Niger State Chapter expresses deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the people of Mokwa Local Government Area over the recent devastating flash flood that claimed several lives, displaced families, and destroyed property worth millions of naira.

We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident, which has brought untold hardship and grief to many households. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, the injured, and all those whose homes and means of livelihood have been affected by this natural disaster.

TIB calls on relevant government agencies, humanitarian organizations, and well-meaning individuals to urgently come to the aid of the victims. Relief materials, temporary shelter, and medical support should be provided without delay to alleviate their suffering and assist in rebuilding their lives.

We also urge both Federal and State Governments to take proactive measures towards improving flood control systems, drainage infrastructure, and early warning mechanisms, to prevent a recurrence of such tragic events.

At this difficult time, TIB stands in solidarity with the good people of Mokwa and Niger State at large. May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may God grant comfort and strength to their families.

Signed:
Comrade Mohammed Audu
State coordinator
