The Take It Back Movement Global, as the founding and guiding force behind the African Action Congress (AAC), extends its deepest congratulations to all delegates, organizers, and members who participated in the party’s National Convention held in Abuja, November 2025.
We speak today not only with pride—but with the joy of a parent whose child has come of age. The AAC, born of struggle and vision, has once again proven that principled organization and people-powered politics can triumph over chaos, corruption, and compromise.

At this historic convention, Comrade Omoyele Sowore was elected National Chairman, reaffirming the party’s revolutionary roots and unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and liberation. He is joined by a formidable team of national officers whose names will echo in the annals of democratic renewal:

The convention was not just peaceful, it was dignified, deliberate, and deeply democratic. Delegates from across Nigeria’s 36 states stood as one, showing that the AAC is not a regional experiment, but a national force.

Let the record reflect: the AAC was once hijacked—stolen through the backdoor by Mr. Leonard Ezenwa, with the backing of the current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike. Their attempt to derail the people’s party was met with resistance, resilience, and righteous defiance. Through legal battles, grassroots mobilization, and the unbreakable will of our members, we reclaimed what was ours.
To all political opportunists, infiltrators, and agents of distraction: stay away from the AAC. This is not a party for sale. It is a movement of conscience, forged in sacrifice and sustained by truth.
To all well-meaning Nigerians—at home and abroad—we say: the AAC is your political home. Join us. Organize with us. Build with us. The future will not be inherited—it must be taken back.
AAC – Take It Back
Take It Back – Action!
